Your donations help us to continue providing inclusive cycling opportunities and support for people of all ages in south London and beyond.
Every donation makes a difference and there are many ways you can support us:
- Donating online at Virgin Money Giving
- If you have already signed up to an event or you are thinking of doing your own challenge for us you can set up your own Virgin Money Giving page.
- Using the easyfundraising toolbar when doing your ordinary online shopping with thousands of retailers. It doesn’t cost you anything but we receive a donation for every purchase!
- If you would like to raise money for us or can use your time and skills to support us as a volunteer we would love to hear from you. Please email us or ring 020 7346 8482.
Glenda Fredman asked for donations to Wheels for Wellbeing for her birthday. “Recently I reconnected with my childhood passion for cycling. I recall the ecstasy of riding my bike just for the sake of it from the age of 6 well into adolescence. Decades later I experience the same sense of freedom and exhilaration. Please help me enable disabled people to share my joy in cycling by donating a small amount.”
Harriet ran her first London Marathon for us. ” I love the freedom of cycling, the fresh air in my face, and feeling more alive afterwards. It beats public transport every time (even in the rain) and is such a great way of meeting people and seeing more of the world. Wheels for Wellbeing opens this up to people who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance, or who might not think that they can.”
We are grateful to the following organisations for providing grants and awards to support and extend the services we can offer. Thank you to:
Bruce Wake Trust
Florian Charitable Trust
Peter Minet Trust
Big Lottery Celebrate Fund
Cycling Grants London
We are very grateful to Asgard Bike Storage for donating one of their brilliant Gladiator Bike Sheds. We have used this to house a couple of adapted cycles at our office on Brixton Road. This will allow us to provide more cycling opportunities for disabled and older people in South London and we really appreciate their support!
