Glenda Fredman asked for donations to Wheels for Wellbeing for her birthday.Recently I reconnected with my childhood passion for cycling. I recall the ecstasy of riding my bike just for the sake of it from the age of 6 well into adolescence. Decades later I experience the same sense of freedom and exhilaration.  Please help me enable disabled people to share my joy in cycling by donating a small amount.”

Harriet Lamb tries a hand cycle at Croydon Sports Arena Harriet ran her first London Marathon for us” I love the freedom of cycling, the fresh air in my face, and feeling more alive afterwards. It beats public transport every time (even in the rain) and is such a great way of meeting people and seeing more of the world. Wheels for Wellbeing opens this up to people who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance, or who might not think that they can.”

In-Kind Support

We are very grateful to Asgard Bike Storage for donating one of their brilliant Gladiator Bike Sheds. We have used this to house a couple of adapted cycles at our office on Brixton Road. This will allow us to provide more cycling opportunities for disabled and older people in South London and we really appreciate their support!
